"Terrible delivery practices"

I ordered an oversized item which they explained to me would take up to three weeks to deliver. I then received a tracking number. The tracking number shows that it was delivered to a third company 12 miles from my house. Three weeks later it is still sitting 12 miles away because the newest company has missed two delivery dates, lied about computer problems, put it on the wrong truck and cost me HOURS on the phone and missed work waiting for it to arrive....Terrible delivery practices. Latest delivery date is now a week away, AGAIN...TERRIBLE.

Om so I ordered a motorola E case from here. Three times. I received the wrong case THREE times. This was my favorite case I found. Instead of my cute case, I got a bland boring small checkered black and grey case. three times. They may have other products that don't have this issue but this is my complaint. NOT COOL. UG.

"Back orders and cancellations"

When you place an order at Overstock.com it is presumed that the items are in stock since that is what they are selling - overstocked items. However, I actually had a situation where the item was not in stock and the the stock out was not disclosed for 5 days. I had to have the item and was forced to purchase it elsewhere. So I needed to cancel my back order. Overstock does not have a process for that because it is not allowed. It took 3 days of calling, chat sessions and emails to make it happen. Then and only then did they do it because it was 1) their fault and 2) I was moving and not in the position to receive the item when and if they ever shipped it! The process was extremely frustrating. Be forewarned. If it goes wrong with this company, it is hours and hours to make it right. Not worth it.

 I ordered a coffee table (Anjin Enzo Contemporary 2-tone multi-storage coffee table) with Brand of "Furniture of America" from Overstock.com. I received the parts a week after placing the order, just to realize that there were missing parts, without which I could not even start the process of building the table. When I registered a complaint with customer care of Overstock.com, the gentleman names Kade promised that I would receive USD 50.00 as compensation and that the parts would be replaced at the earliest. What happened next... Guess what!!! I get an email mentioning that the order for missing parts for "Altra Carson End Table' has been placed and I shall hear from their customer care in 2 business days!!! So wrong parts ordered for wrong product and not a mention of the refund!!! When i called customer care again to confirm what's going on, I hear that there was no refund promised or registered in system. Also, the parts were wrongly ordered as I had guessed. They corrected it in their system (apparently.... let's see what email i receive next from Jessica). and there was NO promise for any compensation....
 
This is not the first time Overstock.com has messed with the delivery of parts for "Furniture of America". Just a few days earlier, my headboard that ordered from Overstock.com had parts with holes drilled in wrong places., They finally had to send replacement parts which arrived after 8 days of complaining.
 
NEVER AGAIN any order from OVERSTOCK.COM.
 
Particularly, Furniture of America SUCKS!!! as much as "OVERSTOCK.com"

Everytime I searched sites to buy a computer component, Overstock.com's prices are always significantly higher than others! Like today for example! I wanted to buy a new CPU mid ATX case. I was wanting the Thermaltake versa H22. Overstock has theirs for $52.32! http://www.overstock.com/Electronics/Thermaltake-Versa-H22-Mid-tower-Chassis/8922059/product.html

 Big difference! Over $10 dollars! If they are really overstocked! Then they still do not seem to care about getting rid of the stock with their ridiculous prices!
 It was the same thing when I wanted to buy my GTX 970! So just search and look for the best prices people! Don't be fooled by a company that only claims to have lower prices! Do your own thinking! And you will save cash.

"Pretty reliable service and affordable products"

I ordered a stroller from here for a family member and it was reasonably priced since it was on sale and many of the items featured on the site are discounted, but it's best to catch the deal when you see them so you can get them at a reduced price. I may order stuff from Overstock again in the near future because of how they have a vast array of products for your home. I had a pretty good experience with customer service they're very helpful and at least you can talk to a live person who's American and not some call center in India or Bangladesh where they employ foreigners because they're cheap labor and don't have to spend much to train them and pay them a lousy wage. It's a great site to go on if you want to find something nice to give to someone as a gift or fixing up the house.

If you need something like computer parts they have it usually! We have used them to purchase parts for computers before and other stuff too! Their prices are reasonable and they ship!
